Users review: 42 tells the story of the American legend Jackie Robinson, the first player in Major League Baseball African American. This film is set in the 1940s, when racism and segregation were very prominent, so Jackie has to overcome many challenges and deal with doubt and judgment of the people in relation OA him. With the support of journalist Wendell Smith (Andre Holland), Rachel Robinson (Nicole Beharie) and Dodgers owner Branch Rickey (Harrison Ford), Jackie proves that he has what it takes to make it.I really like this movie. Love There is only 42 educational, but also a sense of humor, intelligence and inspiration. This film captures the difficulties not only Jackie and her family treated but tambemo hatred that was shown to the people who supported him. I really love the cinematography and the way the camera angles are able to control the movements of the players and unspoken communication between team members capture. The costumes and the set are also very well done and accurate for the time period. My favorite character is Jackie Robinson (Chadwick Boseman), because it really shows the emotion in a realistic way. Jackie face challenge after challenge, but always wins, and Chadwick has to show what went through your characters care about anything other than a simple expression. Phenomenal job Chadwick also captured Jackie's courage and rebellion against the rules. Jackie Robinson is a motivational person and such a character. At any time he could have given the people who watched him leave, I believe all the hate that was thrown at him, but noo he did, and that's what makes him a hero. I believe that Jackie is a character that every man, woman and child can look up and find inspiration in.My favorite scene is when Jackie plays one of his first games as a Dodger. The manager of the other team is very slanderous and contemptible for Jackie. He calls terrible racist while Jackie, but Jackie knows whether he was doing anything, he would be the one punished. Finally, after another Dodgers had enough, Eddie Stanky marched to the other team and told the manager to sit. He knows he's breaking the rules, but when he sees a team of your being harped he takes a chance and stand it. This scene shows that the color of one's skin does not matter and that Eddie would have done it for one of his teammates. It is a wonderful example of honesty and sportsmanship and is very moving.I give 42 5 of 5 stars because it is touching, funny, educational and inspiring. Are rated PG-13, I agree with him, why not run a little long, younger children may find it difficult to sit through, but it also contains a lot of racial and defamatory language that can be for children to understand difficult.
